I have heard many stories of women who weren't able to get pregnant during their peak reproductive years, then were surprised to find themselves pregnant at an advanced age. One example is a thin cyster co-worker who had gone through a couple of rounds of clomid in her early 30's with no success. After that she and her husband gave up, but then at age 37 she was shocked to find out she was pregnant! I also have a friend who's parents concieved him at age 43, even though they weren't able to concieve during their 20's and 30's. Don't know if PCOS was a factor there, but it makes me wonder. So I think there's definitely something behind this study. I just hope it applies to me! Good luck! |
