The two pages on PCOS are basically just the facts. What it is, what the symptoms are, the links with IR, how losing just 10% of your weight can help stablize the PCOS, etc.
However, every bit of advice she gives throughout the book is related to PCOS and how to balance your hormones in order to get your body back in shape.
At the start of the book, Jillian talks about how, even during the Biggest Loser, if she didn't workout for several hours a day and eat 1200 calories she would gain 15lbs in the blink of an eye. But now that she has tackled her hormones and has them in check she only works out five hours per week, eats 1800, and doesn't gain a lb.
She looks into effective vitamins, foods to get rid of, foods to have in moderation and foods you MUST include in your diet, hormone trigger foods, power nutrients....the list is endless. Even her meal plans look very effective. (They include recipes.)
I think every woman on this site could benefit from this book. Jillian really has done her research.
