We are in exactly the same position. The adoption agency we are with is our last hope, and so far they have not even shown our profile. I know exactly what you are going through, and I wish I could say something that would make you feel better. However, there is nothing on Earth that anybody could say that would make me feel better, and I am sure you are feeling the same.
