Sorry for your loss.
I know that with D&C's the lining is scrapped and sometimes it takes awhile for the lining to rebuild back up. And the first AF after a m/c was always light for me, and I've never had a D&C. But I only waited until CD40 at the latest to take something to start it.
If you are concerned you could talk to your doctor about it. Possibly discuss testing your estrogen to see if it is low.
