Hey, any of my doctors (GYN, PCP, or Endo) all said they could manage my PCOS. I personally went with my PCP since I see him once a year and he is not letting my insurance know about my diagnosis. My Endo (went to him for one visit to confirm PCOS), when I asked about the risks said that I needed to watch out for Diabetes (and I'm already on my way there with Pre-Diabetes) and heart disease. He didn't mention obesity and said that many thin cysters stay thin their whole lives which is why we are so hard to diagnose and treat. I personally just go once a year to get my liver/kidney tests and my script for Met.
