After reading this "article," I was determined to have an open mind. It worked. I realized that this unfortunate happening made me a stronger - and yet softer - person. When people would miscarry before, of course I felt for them...but now "I'm sorry" is jam-packed with feeling. The weight of those two words are almost tangible now. I've had a few people close to me miscarry and they've come to me for support in a "we're in this together now" way. So, it makes a difference somehow, someway - even if it's unclear at first.
