Thanks for the help. I was told to go to my family dr. today. Right before I went into the office I was 83, and an hour later I was 62. He said whoever perscribed me metformin doesn't know what they're doing (my ob/gyn). And that I'm taking a higher dosage than fullblown diabetics. He said with my hypoglycemia and family history if I continue this med it will kill me. I was advised to stop taking it immediately and he's going to review my medical charts and make sure I'm okay. He said that many dr's are misusing metformin to treat pcos and that it can be controled other ways without diabetes med. |
