Wow, we really have a lot of the same symptoms! The other reason my RE is making me take this month off of Clomid is because I also had a cyst on my ovary after the miscarriage (leftover from the previous cycle, which can sometimes happen on Clomid). It's hard to have to wait to start again, but I think my body probably needed some time to rest. I bet Clomid will work for you, though

I was nervous before taking it, too, but it's really not bad at all, and it's kind of nice to relax and let the doctors do the monitoring and worrying for you! Do you temp every day? If I were you, I would maybe temp on Clomid (I use fertilityfriend.com, which is great). It's not really necessary since they are monitoring you, but it helped me pinpoint the day I O'd so I'd know the next month (you tend to O around the same time each month, although that's not always a given). I didn't temp after I O'd and got the temp shift on my BFP month, but I just personally liked to know exactly when I O'd. The dr. should also tell you when to start using the OPKs. You usually go in for a mid-cycle U/S around day 12, 13, or 14 (you usually O 5-9 days after your last pill..but be careful about using OPKs too soon - you need to wait until at least 3 days after your last Clomid pill or you can get a false positive). The first month I took 50mg on CD 3-7, and the second month (my BFP month), I took 50mg on CD 2-6 (because I was eager to start it, rather than my RE telling me to!). The RE told me it shouldn't make a difference when I started, but even though I got the BFP on the 2-6 month, I was worried because I only had one smaller follie, vs. two bigger ones the month I took it on CD 3-7. The one follie did end up maturing and got to 18mm when I O'd, but I didn't even feel any O pains on my BFP month, and the first month my ovary was killing me! It almost hurt to BD

So I was actually shocked I got a BFP, b/c I was convinced my ovulation was weaker on the second month b/c I didn't feel anything.
Anyway, not sure what your dr. will recommend, but I would just start with taking it on CD 3-7 and then they can always change it around if they'd like. Also, the RE told me not to get too frustrated on my first cycle b/c they sometimes have to play around with the dosage to make you O. I ended up O'ing, but they may need to up your dose to 75mg or 100mg. In any case, I'm confident it will work for you, especially if you already seem to O on your own!
Oh, and one more thing (sorry to ramble). I would recommend taking 3 tbsp of Robitussin a day about 5 days before you O (make sure it's regular robitussin with the only active ingredient being guaifenesin). And I highly recommend buying pre-seed lubricant (the only one out there that doesn't harm sperm). I don't have nearly as much CM on Clomid (or it's just not noticeable), and the Robitussin really helped my CM become less sticky and more watery to eggwhite, and the pre-seed helped my DH enjoy BDing more! Sorry TMI

The RE told me pre-seed doesn't really help sperm, but it certainly can't hurt. Good luck and please stay in touch! I'm eager to know how your cycles go...Hope you get your BFP!!!
