I'm not saying this to undermine you or your experience, but just wanted to say that the first time I tried Yasmin was in 2005. Was on it for about 8 months and loathed every moment! I was severely depressed, my skin was dry and itchy, as well as still having acne, my periods were very painful and I felt crap!! (also had constant tummy troubles..) Swore I would NEVER go back to it. But, due to the lack of PCOS-friendly pills (and also now I have found out about my endometriosis), I decided to give it a second chance, not expecting any difference....

However, this time round I am loving it. After the initial 2 months to settle in I have only improved. I am able to lose weight easily, acne is nearly all gone, periods are short and light with far less pain, moods are stable (only feel a bit moody the day before I bleed on my break, which is to do with my own hormones kicking in!) and due to the diuretic effect of drosperinone, my heavy boobs are now firmer and a tad smaller, which I am glad about!!! lol!

We are all different as you say, but I just wanted to let you know that sometimes a second try can be successful. My gynae says age and current health can effect this too.

Hope you find/have found something to help you now! xx
