It sounds very similar to a boil. Occasionally, if it ruptures before the 'core' is formed, I'll get one that sounds like that. There's an OTC salve called Prid that really helps keep things clean and cleared up. Heads up, the main ingredient is beeswax (used to be tar, way back when), so it's super sticky and you will want a band aid over it. HTH! |
