I have taken dexamethasone .5mg on cd 1-15 for two of my medicated cycles with 150mg clomid,.5mg estrace, and 2000mg metformin. My dr. prescribed the dexamethasone so that my ovaries wont overstimulate because before i was diagnosed with pcos my testosterone levels were too high Now my levels are normal thanks to the metformin so i no longer need the dex.
It did not make me gain or lose weight and i think it would make me break out around my chin area i know that when you read the drug information it says that the medicine can be used to treat acne but for me it did the total opposite i know that for a fact because i no longer take it i don't break out and i also think that the met has helped with that also because when a woman breaks out around the chin area that is a hormone problem that's what my dr. said, as with the hair i don't notice anything different and i think my hot flashes would start around cd7. I don't know what cushings syndrome is.

After 6 failed cycles of Clomid 2 with IUI, moving on to a RE!
HSG and Laparoscopy in July!
HSG shows i have Unicornuate uterus (birth defect) which means i only have half a Uterus (right side) two Ovaries and one Fallopian tube.
Laparascopy was a success my one tube is not blocked and very little Endometriosis.
