Well,
I am an older cyster. I am 41 and recently decided to give up on having a 2nd child. We were thinking of doing IVF but my doctor said that my 250lbs, recent high blood pressure, and finally a fasting blood sugar over the 126 for diabetes should probably help make our decision easier that my body cannot handle another pregnancy. While I am grieving that, I am hoping to lose some weight and get rid of my GREASY SKIN and hair on my face before our family reunion this summer.

My daugher asked me why i have a beard. omg. that is the last straw.

I used to just have a Lower abdomen stomach and no upper stomach flab...well now for some reason I have upper stomach flab....like a huge hard upper beer belly only i do not drink beer.

wow, i am painting a lovely picutre of myself to you guys, considering I am new to posting on here! Please don't run away! hehe

I have been on met over the years. always makes me feel shaky and sick so i quit. i was also on yazmine that STOPPED the grease and hair growth (and hair loss on my head) but it made me DEPRESSED so I stopped. Now i am fat, greasy, and hairy and it is just not working out for me either. And, now I am on Zoloft and I do not think I will get as depressed if yasmine does make me depressed again. SO, I asked my doc to please put me back on yasmin and on met so that when I have a family reunion in 2.5 months I might not be as greasy and fat and he said I have to come and see him first....great....he is booked for more than a month. I called and begged for the yasmin (funny after I told him NEVER to give me any more bcps about a year ago!) I am sure he thinks I am nuts. Oh well!
So, I am looking for some support, suggestions, etc to help me.

I have been sugar free and high glycemic carb free for about a momth, and before that I had a month of binging on sugar and prior to that about 3 months off of sugar/carbs and STILL NO WEIGHT LOSS. I do a 700 calorie burning kickboxing workout 2x a week, run at least once a week, and walk/hike a s much as i have time for. I have a 5 year old, so I am active. I am surprised that I am not thinner but really I should not be surprised.

Any help or suggestions or just plain motivating stories that might keep me on the yasmine and met would be great.
