Hi everyone
I thought i'd introduce myself to the local cysters.
I'm based in Brisbane, Aus, and have just been diagnosed with PCOS 5 days ago.
I'm new to everything - so i'm finding this website great for information
I'm 25 and about to finish my law degree, and have the world at my feet

But I have always battled with my weight from my teens. As far as I know i could have had PCOS since then, but i really don't know.
Anyway - i'm reaching out to you girls who've been through it all before. I've tried all sorts of diets, and yet i'm still at my 150kg weight and i'm getting the real sh!ts. I want to lose weight more than anything - i want to get back to being healthy (I was fairly healthy once), and enjoy my body, and give it time to heal properly before I embark of trying to start a family - i don't think i could in my current condition!. Another thing, I am getting married in November this year and do not want to be an obese bride. I will regret it for the rest of my life.
Anyway - I'd love to know what tips you girls have for someone like me. I've read there's some good "glucose revolution" books out there that may help - but are they any good?
What have you found that works for you?
