Hello, my name is Maria and I am from Vancouver.
I am 26 and I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 23.
I have two kids which I had while I was a teenager (before the onset of my PCOS).
I have now been seeing Dr. Anthony Cheung at the UBC Center for Reproductive Health. I managed to get pregnant after 4 cycles of clomiphene (150mg) but sadly the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage after 9 weeks.
I started clomiphene again shortly after the miscarriage and got pregnant on the first cycle this time (yay!). I am now 7 weeks pregnant and hopefully all goes well this time :-).
I would love to get to know more women with PCOS in the Vancouver area. There is also a PCOS support group that meets monthly in the Vancouver area, if anyone is interested. |
