Thats why I am afraid of going to my doctor at home when I am back from school.... I was diagnosed by my university clinic doctor (one of the best doctors I have ever had by the by). My "family" doctor didnt even believe I have acid reflux disease (both of my parents have it, and both of my grandfathers...). I really dont believe she would believe that I was diagnosed with PCOS just because I am not obese, she never even bothered to get me tested even though I had a previous family doctor suggest that I should be tested (we moved, so we changed doctors).

I workout daily and have played sports and worked out since I was 5, I watch my diet like crazy, I work hard at not gaining weight. It worries me because I was diagnosed and my sister should be tested, as should my mother (my mother has all the symptoms, including obesity, although she has lost weight since starting the low GI diet with me). If the family doctor doesnt believe me in my diagnosis, she wont test my sister or mom... and my sister is skinny too (a high level athlete though, like I was)
