I also just read my pre surgery paperwork and it says nothing with asprin for 7 days before surgery which is not good as I am having dental/jaw/muscle issues and am on pain killers and also Ibprofen. I guess I am going to have to tell my oral surgeon that next week so he can figure something out. I really dont want to reschedule the lap since I have waited so long and need to get it over with. I am guessing they say this because asprin products thin the blood?
How long before you can go in the pool or water after surgery? I am trying to figure out what I am going to do with my son after the surgery since he will be out of school. Dont know if I can go to the pool or how long it will be before I can after surgery. I will have my DH home that day which my surgery is on a Friday and then he has to go back to work Monday.
I wish I wasnt so nervous. I am just terrified of being put totally out. For some reason in the back of my head the thought of them putting a tube down my throat makes me worry I wont wake back up. I know its silly, but I rather have twilight and have begged so many of the anesteologists and none will do it that way. They said its too risky with the postion I am in and with all the gas they have to fill me up with to see in there. Has anyone heard of having it with just twilight when they think there will be endo to remove? Have any of you had ovarian drilling with the lap from endo diagnosis and removal if so?
