Well I took a shower the day after surgery and it was fine, but due to the stitches needing to by clean so no ifection occurs, I would avoid the pool until they have some out and you have scarred over rather than still having the wound. Took about 2 and a hlaf weeks before mine completely came out/dissolved. Plus, I doubt swimming would be very comfortable at that point but that's just me.
