My lap was similar to most ladies I think. I wasn't in much pain after the surgery. I remember the doc or whoever he was turning on the sedation stuff and saying "here come the margaritas". I thought I'de be out right away but it only took a few seconds. The doc said that I will start to see the room start to shift and I did, then I was out. It felt like just a few seconds later when I woke up, but it had been a couple of hours. It took a little longer than anticipated because my tubes were messed up. when I woke up I felt like I had to pee, but it was really just my bladder spasming from the catheder. That feeling went away after a few minutes. I think I woke with a start cause the nurses or docs that were in the room said "it's over, you're done". I think I was tired for a little while that afternoon, but it wasn't too bad. The next day I was pretty much back to normal as far as being tired goes. I had a the surgery on a Friday and was out mowing the yard Wednesday. I got pregnant the very next month, but unfortunately that was a chemical, but got pregnant again the very next month after that and I'm due in July.
I think once it's done and over with you'll look back and be like "oh, that wasn't a big deal."
