This is hilarious! great resource but look what it pulled up for me::

METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE and FOOD
Severity:
Moderate

Description: Taking metformin with food may cause the metformin in your blood to be too low.
Using metformin with food may cause your medicine to not work for you. Using metformin with food is not recommended. It is important to tell your doctor and pharmacist about all other medicines that you are using. If you are already using metformin with food, call your doctor if your blood sugar level is very different each time you check it, feel dizzy or lightheaded, have blurred vision, have abdominal pain, or have cold and sweaty skin. Do not stop using your medicines without talking to your doctor first.
