Go to a new doctor. Persistant bleeding (heavy or otherwise) can put you at risk of an iron deficiency, which isn't good, especially if you are going to TTC in the near future.
I'm about to investigate the IUD but I'm a bit nervous because they say women who have had children handle it better.
