I'm surprised your doctor prescribed a BCP if you have migraines. Both my aunts have terrible migraines and doctors have always recommended other forms of contraception to them. But then you have to remember that a BCP 'treats' everyone differently.
I think the main reasons women are on BCPs (outside of contraception) is to give them a regular period and keep on top of their hair and acne. Why do you think the doctor prescribed them to you? Perhaps because of your bad skin?
