Hi Shapo! This is my second Femara cycle. My first cycle was 2.5mg CD5-9, and my day 12 follicle scan showed a 32 cm (mm?) follicle on my left ovary. I had the trigger shot but no luck that cycle. I went today for my day 12 scan but none of the follicles were big enough, so I'll go back on Friday to see if any have grown to at least 20 cm. If I get the trigger shot this time, I may also add a progesterone supplement to correct a possible luteal phase defect.
So, I'm not clear if the large follicle last month actually released an egg or not. I'm trying to take this one day at a time, crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. Hopefully there isn't a third cycle for me, but if there is I'm curious to see what the doc wants to try next! |
