I wish I had read this thread sooner. I've been on Metformin for over a year, switched to Glumetza in March because of the Metformin side effects, and now I'm getting the side effects even with Glumetza. I'm fine at 1000mg of Glumetza at night, but as soon as I try to add in another 500mg or two, I get very sick during the day and have to leave work (I don't have enough time off for that).
I've got some ideas for things to try now at least. It's discouraging when it doesn't help at all, because you feel like you're throwing away money on prescriptions and doctor visits. |
