Shaving every day doesn't need to leave your skin red, even if you do have male-type hair growth. I have very sensitive skin, but my Philips Norleco men's-type electric razor doesn't leave any redness or irritation at all.

What sort of razor are you using? Those designed for men are almost always much better for the face.

If it's a wet razor, what do you do to prepare your face before shaving -- do you wash it in very hot water?

What do you use to shave with -- gel, foam or what?

Do you dip the razor in extremely hot water between each stroke?

Do you use a good moisturizer immediately after shaving?
