Well, since you're asking...I HATE YAZ! I took it for 6 weeks and almost bled to death (literally, I was very close to a blood transfusion). I was also very suicidal while taking it with no problems prior. When I stopped taking it that went away, however, I had really bad muscle cramps for 2 weeks every morning at 4am due to a potassium imbalance. There are a lot of stories
HERE of perfectly healthy, young women developing blood clots from taking Yaz. There is also a class-action lawsuit against Bayer Pharmaceuticals because of Yaz side effects. Erin Brockovich is handling the suit.
On the flipside, BCPs work differently for everyone and I'm sure you'll find a lot of happy women who take it with success. I just wanted to share my story with you without sugar-coating it. I wish I had read more before I started taking it.
