there is also foster care/ foster care adoption... many people don't think of this... as many as 1/3 of kids entering care get adopted by their foster parents, 1/3 end up adopted by family, and 1/3 end up going home... i thought i had no hope of adopting, but within 7 months 5 week old twin girls were placed with me... I adopted them at 13 months... |
