It may take 6 weeks for you to get the full benefit, but you'll probably see a difference within the first 2 weeks. The initial side effects can last for a while. It gave me the yawns until my body adjusted to it. I've tried Zoloft and Paxil, but had the best success with Lexapro. It improved my quality of life and was definitely worth the few side effects. Try to give it some time.
