My endo says the same thing. For me, since I had thyroid cancer and had my thyroid removed, she wants me to keep my TSH under 1. She has said that if I do become pregnant on my own to call her and she will monitor me since my TSH levels seem to go up and down very easily. My reg doc thinks that if its at 4 I'm doing great.
One thing that has helped me keep my levels the same is to take my meds in two doses - one in the morning and one in before bed.
