You're right about that -- and a glowing blonde beard when it's seen against the sun is
very obvious.

From what I've seen on these posts, it seems to me most women shave.

I don't know that it's most, but certainly a great many of us shave.

I know, it's horrible and manly

I'm sure all of us who shave have felt that way at some point. I know I certainly did when I first started shaving as a teenager. Especially when I began shaving every day. Of course at that point I would have loved to be feminine -- but how could I feel feminine when I had to shave every day like a man and when I didn't have proper breasts either? But what I eventually came to realize is that you don't need to be feminine to be a success as a woman. I've got a great husband who I've been married to for well over 30 years. I've got kids. Lots of the much more feminine girls I was in high school with don't have kids at all. Some of them have never been married. Very few of them have been married to the same guy for 30 years +. I've still got a great physical relationship with my DH -- very few of them seem to have much of a physical relationship now.

but it's the cheapest and best way most of us have found

I think the thing is that if one has just a very light growth of hair, then there may be several ways of dealing with it. However, for those of us whose facial hair growth is little, if any, different from that of a male, and especially if our hormones are outwith the normal female range and possibly even in the normal male range, then the chances are that we're unlikely to find a better answer than shaving. If there were one, probably would be used by most men, whereas the reality is that most men shave.
