Lap Tomorrow I am really nervous and kind of freaking out over my lap tomorrow. There's a 6 cm endometrial cyst on my left ovary, and the dr said there's a chance he'd have to remove the entire ovary if there's no cleavage point. The reason I even found out about the PCOS and endo was because we are ttc. I've only known about this stuff for a month and a half and now I'm faced with possibly losing my ovary. I'm really scared of losing my ovary, and scared of the surgery too. It seems like a big surgery, so I'm worried about the breathing tube and the pain afterwards.
Anyone have some positive stories about large ovarian cysts where the ovary was salvageable?
What about women with one ovary removed and were still successful TTC?
I would really appreciate some good stories and good vibes.
Thanks everyone
