After this happened I've heard from a few WLSers who have mentioned they know someone, or a couple of people who have had the same complication - sometimes via the web, sometimes in person. This was a possible complication I had never heard of from anyone, anywhere. It's a complication/risk that I think everyone needs to be aware of. Is there a specific name or diagnosis for what you described?
Any steps that patients can take to avoid it?
