My dr (Dr Hamilton at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary) is brilliant but he said to me that my BMI would have to be below 35 before I could get any fertility drugs. I think it's an HFEA recommendation not just him. He says overweight women have more problems during pregnancy and have more risk of miscarriage so it's given me the kick up the bum I need to lose weight
