 Introduction
Hi. My name is Erica. I was diagnosed with PCOS last september. My husband and I are starting to try for our first child and I hit a major road block. Although I had been on Metformin my doctor decided to try to control my PCOS with just birthcontrol, but last week my bloodpressure was so high he stopped all medication. We had agreed to stay on the birth control for the next six months then start to try to concieve in January. Now I don't know what to do. I am starting to wonder if I need to get a second opinion but have no idea where to find a good gyno in my area. I feel like all hope is lost for ever having a child. I don't want to end up with alot of fertility drugs feeling like a hormoned beefed up milk cow. Maybe someone out there can offer me some advice or just some encouragement. Last night was a rough night emotionally, this morning I decided to seek out answers. |
