I bleed like that if I go for 9-10 months without a period... ugh. My doctor told my that my estrogen/porgesterone levels just go up, up,up with no O to make it go down and therefore making the lining thicker and thicker. So, with you taking porgesterone and having more than normal in your body builds up the uterine lining the same way as just going a year without a period like me, I am guessing. It should slow after 2-3 days... if not, call the doc again. More than a few days is not normal.
