I just wanted to say that I started out like you. As a teen, my symptoms were overweight, no periods at all (unless medically induced) and some facial hair. Keep at it and try to go back to your GP, tell her what happened and see if she'll give you metformin. I'm taking it now and having my period on a regular basis.
