I'm not sure exactly how Lovenox or Heparin would benefit a pregnancy. Both drugs have blood-thinning properties, but I do not see the correlation between that and helping women with previous miscarriages retaining a pregnancy. I would venture to say that it would only be helpful if your miscarriages were related to a clotting problem. I would be concerned being pregnant and on a blood thinner. Your body is already susceptible and vulnerable while pregnant, and I would not want to chance any complications. I would say as long as you are in good communication with your doctor, then it never hurts to try. What may work for you won't work for someone else, and vice versa. Good luck! |
