 Chicken or the egg?
So, I've been wondering...does obesity cause PCOS or does PCOS cause obesity. I've seen that they basically go hand in hand...but what comes first? I'm obese (boy thats not fun to admit), and have been gaining steadily since high school I'm now 26. I was an average size at 17-18 but have gained about 15 lbs a year. But I've had problems menstruating since the onset at age 13. So is pcos to blame for the weight gain? (i've not actually been diagnosed yet, but dude I've got all the symptoms). |
