Dont be nervous! I get Egyptians not Brazillans... Brazillans only do the front and i need the front and back! lol
Some tips:
-exfoliate before you go - to make sure the wax grabs it
-make sure the hair isnt too long, or it hurts waaaaay worse - trim to about 3/4-1inch long
The first time can be embarrassing. But if you find a professional, she won't make you feel weird about it!
My girl does the "rip and hold method"... lol. She yanks and then puts pressure on the spot. It HELPS SO MUCH I CANT EVEN TELL YOU. I dont know why but it does!!!
The worst part (of the whole thing - front AND back) is the top part... on the bone (if that makes sense)... Dont worry. It is literally 2 SECONDS... one thousand one, one thousand two and its over. Im super sensative and after the initial pull, I'm fine. No pain afterwards, not sore or tender.
Your hubby will be so happy! and i PROMISE, once you do it once, you will never go back. I cringe at the thought of shaving, razor burn, little infected hair bumpts EW.
The only thing i can say that is a little annoying is that in the 3rd week, when it is growing back, it itches like the devil. Two days and im itching like crazy....but its worth the two days to have 2 weeks hair free and 1 week soft stubble. HTH Good luck! xoxo |
