Unhappy Are all my problems PCOS related?

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005, since then I have developed, insulin resistence (taking metformin) Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, IBS, acid reflux (taking omeprazole) and constant yeast infections (like every month!!) All this is making my life miserable, not to mention the facial hair that is getting worse not better. (endo said testosterone level is almost normal!!??) Are all these problems related to my PCOS?
I have lost almost a stone in weight since starting the metformin, but my doc says if I want to have a baby at any time I must stop the metformin at the same time as my pill (Logynon) So this has TOTALLY put me off having a baby, the rate I was putting on weight I'd be 15 stone before I was even pregnant, not to mention the damage to my liver (metformin has supposedly halted the damage), has anyone else been made to stop their metformin?
