Frankly, I ignore any stares. I've been working with the same people for 6 years, and no one has ever said anything (and I've never seen any looks of disgust). I'm confident enough in my job (if no where else in my life) that I don't care what coworkers might say or think. My friends might look down and see the shadow, but then they look right up and there's no disgust or judgement there (that's why they're my friends!). It will get easier to deal with in time, I've been dealing with this for half my life now. |
