I don't want to make assumptions but I don't see any kids mentioned in your sig ...
It can be hard to find a doctor who will put in IUD in someone who has never had children. I have heard different explanations but one is that the IUD will be harder to place or will be more likely to fall out...
There are women who get them without having had children, but it's not so common.
