Smile My Faith Will See Me Through

I have recently joined this site and I am excited to find women of faith on here!

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 14 years old. They told me when I was young that I may not be able to have kids. But once I went back to the doctors at 21, they told me all of my levels were normal and that I was ovulating.

Now, I am 24, about to get married and I have begun to worry about the PCOS again. My sister was just told today that her IVF procedure did not work and it has me worried that this may be my plight as well.

I am praying for all of us that we believe in our faith more than a diagnosis or circumstance. I have lost 50 pounds thus far and I have to keep going. It has been rough but I know that Christ will be with me every step of the way.

Pray that I continue to keep the faith and that I also find a doctor that will help me with my condition. The one I have now is supposedly a good doctor but has not checked my levels nor given me a sonogram to assess where I am. All he says that the best I can do is lose weight, which is not a satisfactory answer for me.

Like I said, I am happy to see women of faith on here. Keep me in your prayers and I will definitely be praying for you.

To God be the glory for all He has done!
