No doubt that's how I became as big as the house. When I was in middle school and high school, I went all day without eating. I ate when I got home from school because the cafeteria was always packed and by the time you got through the line the bell went off to be in class; no time to eat! So when I got home, I would cook my brother and I cheese toast and then mom would come in and cook dinner and we would eat that too. Almost like we stock piled in the evening to keep us through the next day. We were latch key kids, so no one was there to make sure we ate before we left home. I believe that's how my hormones got out whack also.
Thank God I know now that a large, healthy breakfast is the best start to a day! I can definitely feel a difference in my energy level and health. Then again, I'm 32 now, not 12 or 13. |
