I Think I Have It - And I'm Terrified I have PCOS, and didn't have a period pretty much ALL last year. I hadn't had regular periods for a very long time either. Then since I've been losing weight, so my period came back in May. But when I started again June 12th - I was spotting and am STILL SPOTTING today! (Plus cramps.) That's 21 days of brownish, dark brown, red, pink - every blood color under the sun. Chunky, clear - EVERYTHING.
I don't have very painful cramps - but then again I don't know what "excruciating" cramps feel like because I like NEVER have a period. They just feel painful to me - but not fall on the floor painful. My last one was bad, so I just took Tylenol. But I thought that might be because it was my first period in awhile.
Also, I am VERY constipated, and am sort of chronically that way. Especially in the past few weeks. But that could also be due to my low carb diet - so I am not sure.
So, what kind of blood do you have on your period???? Why would mine be occuring for 21 days, light, and TONS of different colors? Is it possible for the endometrial tissue that forms outside the uterus to like...go BACK in the uterus during a period and fall out? Sorry if that's dumb, but I can't think of anything else!
Also - there is NOT a history of it in my family, but my mom DOES have an autoimmune disorder (Lupus)....which I hear endometreosis can be cause by.
Seriously...I've been TTC SO hard - if I have to have a hysterectomy I will just die.
