I was curious by what you ment by "dosen't work", Metformin helps to lower circulating insulin levels in your blood (basically by your body being able to use it better), in turn it can lower androgens, specifically testosterone. For me, I saw decreased insulin and testosterone levels. This was proved by blood work taken before I started the Met and about 1 year after starting it. It can take a little while to notice the benefits, some things are only seen by lab values, other ppl can start to cycle on their own and notice less male-pattern hair growth. (I call it my man hairs), but there are other insulin sensitizers that are out there if you did want to change. HTH!
