Oh my goodness YES! Not only are you eating the wrong foods but you're eating too much! Remember that your pouch is still swollen from surgery and can't handle foods like that yet. I'm not sure about the dietary guidelines your surgeon has provided you but this is what my surgeon had me on and not once did I have any vomiting. The hamburger meat is just too much for your pouch to handle right now, same for the boiled egg (can you say dry?) & toast. It's too dry for your pouch right now and too dense. You should be on a soft protein/puree diet right now.

Week 1 - clear liquids
week 2 - soft moist proteins/puree's (scrambled egg, cottage cheese, low carb yogurt)
week 3 - add slightly more dense proteins like cheeses, fish, chicken (make sure it's MOIST!) in addition to foods from previous week
week 4 - add pork
week 5 - add beef
week 6 - add well cooked vegetables (like soft carrots, zucchini, mushrooms), avocado, stuff like that
week 8 - add low glycemic fruits (becareful about dumping).

Also in addition to those foods I was doing protein shakes, not protein bars due to the thickness of the bars as well as the sugar alcohol content (I dump off of sugar alcohols more quickly than I do regular sugar).

Lastly, how long are you taking to eat and how many oz are you eating. Right now you should be taking in about 2-3 tablespoons of food and taking 20 minutes to eat it. A good rule of thumb is 1oz per month until you reach your max of 4-6oz protein. I remember that I could eat 1oz at 1 month post op, 2oz (total food) at 2 months, 3oz at 3 months. I never had nausea or vomiting after eating.

I suggest giving your pouch a break...try going back to liquids for a day and then reintroduce solids. Start with a scrambled egg or cottage cheese. Measure out your foods, take your time & stop when you feel that sensation of being satisfied. Eat off of a teacup saucer...it helps with the mental aspect of seeing a full plate. Lastly make sure you chew until it's the consistancy of baby food before you swallow and make sure that you take 20 minutes to eat. If you have to step away from the food to make sure you do this then that's what you have to do. Remember you have to totally relearn how to eat.

Lastly I stress moist foods because dry foods will only swell up when it hits your pouch and can get stuck which results in a feeling like you have a rock in your stomach that can be painful as well as vomiting.

Give it a try and let me know how it goes....
