The diet TammyLynn provided is a good one to follow. Chips & baked potato should be no nos at this point. Your body can pull carbs from its fat cells. What you need to focus on is water & protein as there are 9 essential amino acids (what your body requires to function properly) that you must get from meats, your body can't make them.
I found the best low carb yogurt out there to be Dannon Lite & Fit Carb Control, it's a 4oz serving and has like 5-6g protein & 2-3g sugars...far less sugar than any other yogurt on the market.
Some good rules to learn are:
take small sips throughout the day - aim for 64-72oz a day
eat slow, approx 20 min per meal
chew well, at least 20-30 chews per bite
small bites, put fork down between bites
do not eat/drink at the same time - no drink for 60 min after eating
