 Hi ! I'm new
I decided to start here because this is what I am dealing with at the moment. I have been bleeding since April 15. Mostly moderate-almost hemorrhaging with a lot of flooding. I had a D&C a couple of weeks ago with hysteroscopy. The doctor found polyps , a fibroid , a very tipped and prolapsed uterus, a very hard to find cervix and " a whole lot of matter that had to be taken out " I think he meant endometrial as my lining was thickened and my uterus enlarged
He said that I would keep bleeding ( true) He gave me BC pills and half way through the second pack without taking the sugar pills in between , I am down to a light flow. Oh , he said I need to have a hysterectomy , and I have complete pelvic floor prolapse and lot's of adhesion's and it all needs to be fixed. Plus , I had hernia surgery October 2008 with mesh and that has to be cut through or around. I can't have vaginal surgery because of the position of my uterus.
I also understand the obesity thing. I have non-classical adrenal hyperplasia and PCOS as well as tons of other health problems , so with everything taken into account , my Gyn. is sending me 3 hours away to the University of Michigan so a specialized team can work on me . Aren't I blessed ?
Well , that is my ranting introduction of myself at the moment. Sorry ! I didn;t sleep all night because of a low blood sugar episode from my diabetes , then I tossed and turned so much I am in pain now. I am going to take some meds and try to sleep later.
