Halupkis:
Boil cabbage (let cool, then remove leaves to wrap these ingredients
Uncooked ground beef
Sauteed onions
Chopped green pepper
Optional (white or brown rice)
Wrap in boiled cabbage leaves, stack in big baking pot with layers of canned crushed tomatoes. Rinse out empty cans with water and use it to fill the pot about 1/2 way.
Put in oven and bake for 2-3hrs on 350 degrees.

This is an old family recipe that has the same taste as those Stoufers stuffed peppers you see in the freezer isle. But the only difference really is swapping green pepper for cabbage because it's easier to wrap.
You could swap it back and just stack them on a cookie sheet, using the green peppers as little "bowls" for the ingredients.
For lower fat you might want to get a super lean ground chicken or turkey. Or get chicken breast and cut it up real well.
