My doctor told me that on Metformin, many women tend to lose weight. I'm actually a healthy weight already, towards the low end of my recomended BMI.
She told me that if I lost too much weight, I wouldn't uvulate on my own (which I currently do, it's just usually delayed without help). I'm conviced that I'll be able to get pregnant again, but I'm so scared of losing the baby. I think I might talk to my doctor about something that I can take to regulate my hormones more, so that I won't. My CM is fine, and really the only symptoms I have are Long heavy period usually about 50+days apart (without help) and a family history of it. Nothing else yet, thank goodness.
So I'm not sure if the side affects of a medication will outweigh th positives that might come out of it. Although if it made me less likely to miscarry, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
